Tell your U.S. representative to support HR 30 in condemning
China's dog meat trade.
More than 10 million dogs and
countless numbers of cats are killed for human consumption every year in China.
The trade involves animal cruelty, criminal activity including theft of pets,
and serious risk to human health.
U.S. Rep. Alcee L. Hastings has
introduced a resolution condemning China's dog meat trade. H. Res. 30 calls
on the Chinese government to end the dog meat trade and
to better enforce food safety and animal transportation laws.
Please ask your U.S. Representative
