Canada is half-way to becoming a cruelty-free cosmetics market. Let’s get this done!
The Cruelty-Free Cosmetics Act would make it illegal to test cosmetics products or ingredients on animals here in Canada and ban the sale of beauty products that have been newly tested on animals anywhere in the world. It follows the example already set by 39 countries, including the European Union, Israel, India, Taiwan and New Zealand.
After three years of debate in the Senate, the bill has been endorsed and has now moved to the House of Commons, where elected Members of Parliament will determine whether or not it becomes law. Your MP needs to hear that YOU support this bill and want it passed into law intact. Please act now!
