Jo-Anne McArthur

Act now to secure a swift end to fur farming in Ireland!

Each year, 150,000 mink are bred and killed in Ireland, kept in small, barren, wire cages and then gassed to death before they are a year old, all to make frivolous fur trim.

This Irish government just announced it will end fur farming, but a phase-out period could take years, causing many animals to still suffer and die.

Now is our chance to call on Ireland to implement this legislation as quickly as possible.

Urge the Agriculture Minister to implement a total ban on all fur farming as soon as possible.
