End South Korean dog cloning experiments!
The South Korean government is funding dog cloning experiments to engineer ‘designer’ sniffer dogs for airports. Animal cloning is a needless and frivolous activity, as well as a highly experimental procedure, with an extremely high failure rate. There are many viable alternatives for the identification and training of detection dogs. Most cloned animals die in gestation or at birth, and the few survivors often suffer physical abnormalities, severe and chronic pain and other serious conditions. South Korea is the only country that actively supports dog cloning using taxpayer funds.
